A female teacher has reportedly lost her life after she was allegedly assaulted by the father of one of her students in Ugbamaka, Okpo District, Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State.
According to security analyst Zagazola Makama, the incident was said to have occurred after the teacher disciplined the student over an undisclosed issue.
Reports indicated that the student’s father later confronted the teacher, and the altercation allegedly turned violent, resulting in her death.
The incident has triggered widespread condemnation, with many expressing concern over the safety of teachers and the increasing attacks on education professionals while carrying out their duties.
