Armed robbers have invaded the home of popular Nigerian singers, Adegbodu Twins.
The incident comes a few days after the burial of one-half of the music duo, Taiwo Adegbodu.
The attack, which occurred on Tuesday night around 9 p.m., reportedly threw the family into distress.
Disclosing the incident in a video shared online on Thursday evening, Kehinde Adegbodu, the surviving twin, said the robbers carted away clothes, shoes, phones, gold, and other valuables.
He expressed concern over the safety of his family, stating that he was not in possession of any money donated for his late brother’s burial.
Kehinde suggested that the attackers might have targeted the house in search of funds donated for the burial, noting that one of the robbers made calls indicating that he was not at home and that no money was found in the house.
He further explained that he was in Osun State at the time of the incident and had to rush home after receiving a distress call from his late brother’s wife, adding that members of the household, including children, were left terrified by the armed men.
The singer appealed for forgiveness from anyone he might have offended, stressing that he no longer had any money, as the funds donated had been used for the burial and completion of an uncompleted building where his brother was laid to rest.
He also raised concerns about the safety of his family, stating that he does not want his family to be in the news for negative reasons.
According to reports, Taiwo Adegbodu died of a heart attack on March 1, 2026, and was buried on March 31.
