The residents of Garage olode in Ife South Local Government Area of Osun State, on Saturday stormed the street to show their grievance of how the community has witnessed 12 Years total blackout.
The protesters, in their numbers mount every road linked to the town, with different inscription on the placard , calling the attention of the state government to find long lasting solution.
Recall that the State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola had in June, 2021, flagged-off the reconnection of the town to the national grid but the project has not seen the light of the day as darkness continued to persist in the town and its surrounding communities.
