United States President Donald Trump has disclosed that he will not attend the wedding ceremony of his son, Donald Trump Jr., due to official government responsibilities.
Trump made this known in a post shared on his Truth Social account on Friday, explaining that affairs of state and his commitment to the United States would prevent him from being present at the wedding of Donald Trump Jr. and his fiancée, Bettina Anderson.
According to the president, although he wished to attend the ceremony, the demands of governance during what he described as an important period for the country required his continued presence at the White House.
Trump also extended his congratulations to the couple ahead of their wedding ceremony.
