Nollywood actress Victoria Akanke Ajibola, popularly known as Omo Local, has shared details about the circumstances that led to the breakdown of her marriage.
The actress made the disclosure during a recent interview on Oyinmomo TV, where she spoke about her past relationship and the events surrounding her divorce.
According to her account, she discovered while she was five months pregnant that her close friend was also expecting a child for her husband at the time.
She said the development had a severe emotional impact on her and contributed to the collapse of the marriage.
Ajibola stated that the situation caused her significant distress and that she struggled to cope with the emotional consequences.
She further revealed that after she left the marriage, her former husband and the friend went on to have more children together.
She added that she is no longer in contact with the former friend and does not have information about her current whereabouts.
The actress did not disclose further details about the timeline of the events or the duration of the marriage.
She said “I was five months pregnant, my best friend was also three months pregnant for my husband. The trauma was so much to the extent that I took poison because of shame,” she said.
“Anyway, I don’t know about her whereabouts anymore. Maybe she’s still together with my ex-husband, I don’t know, but they had about three (children) together after I left him.”
