The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has resumed uploading results from the Osun State governorship election to its Result Viewing Portal (IReV), with 92.53 per cent of the expected polling unit results now available.
A check of the portal at the time of filing this report showed that 3,560 results had been uploaded from the 3,763 polling units across the state.
The development followed an earlier pause in the uploading of results, which had generated concerns as the collation process continued.
Voters across the 30 local government areas of Osun State went to the polls on Saturday to elect a governor for the next four years.
The election featured incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party, All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate Bola Oyebamiji, African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate Najeem Salaam and other candidates.
