The Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council for the forthcoming Osun State governorship election, Hon. Wole Oke, has expressed confidence that the Accord Party will not secure victory in any ward in Obokun and Oriade local government areas during the August 15, 2026 poll.
Oke made the declaration on Tuesday during a media chat with online media publishers, where he spoke on the political outlook ahead of the governorship election.
The APC campaign chief maintained that the party remained strongly rooted in the two local government areas and was well-positioned to record a convincing victory at the polls.
According to him, the Accord Party stands no chance of winning any ward in either Obokun or Oriade, insisting that voters in the areas would overwhelmingly support the APC.
He said, “Accord will not win a single ward in obokun, Oriade, take it to bank. We are experts in removing sitting governor, Governor Adeleke is not what Osun deserves, Osun deserves better.
“In terms of service delivery and value addition, I score the Governor Ademola Adeleke-led administration zero, and it is on that basis that Osun citizens, voters and the electorate will vote this government out on August 15, 2026. We have done our work, and I can assure you, go and find out, my brother, Governor Ademola Adeleke, is already packing his bags and baggage out of Government House. You no longer see him where he used to go to party and dance. He now stays in Lagos because he knows the reality is that he cannot make it.”
