The Osun State Police Command has declared two suspects, Faturoti Kehinde and Adumati Idowu, wanted over their alleged involvement in the killing of a Federal Road Safety Corps officer, Lasisi Funmilayo Oluwamayokun, and her daughter, Lasisi Sewa.
The victims were reported missing on Sunday, November 2, 2025, after leaving their residence at Obasanjo Hilltop Estate and failing to return home.
Lasisi, aged 38, and her 10-year-old daughter were later confirmed dead in circumstances that prompted an investigation by the police.
During the investigation, the police arrested the boyfriend of the deceased, Victor Fajemirokun, who was paraded alongside two herbalists, Gboyega Daramola and Sunday James, at the headquarters of the command in Osogbo in connection with the case.
In a public notice issued on Friday and signed by the command’s Public Relations Officer, Abiodun Ojelabi, the police said the two suspects were being sought for their alleged roles in the murder.
The police described Faturoti, also known as Fagorite, as a 36-year-old man with dark complexion, white teeth, pointed nose, oblong head and black hair, standing about 1.7 metres tall.
The second suspect, Adumati, said to be about 38 years old and from Ijurin-Ekiti, was also described as dark-complexioned with white teeth, pointed nose, oblong head and black hair, with a height of about 1.7 metres.
The command appealed to members of the public to provide useful information that could assist security agencies in locating and arresting the suspects, warning that anyone found harbouring them would be treated as an accomplice.
