The incumbent Governor of Osun State and candidate of the Accord Party, Ademola Adeleke, has won the 2026 Osun State governorship election.
Adeleke was declared the winner by the Returning Officer, the Vice-Chancellor Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Prof Joshua Ogunwole for the election on Sunday after the completion of the collation of results from the 30 local government areas of the state.
The declaration followed the collation of results from across the state, with Adeleke emerging with 511,067 votes ahead of his closest challengers, Bola Oyebamiji with 444,816 votes.
The result gives Adeleke another mandate to govern Osun State for the next term.
