A woman has sparked widespread reactions on social media after publicly celebrating the death of her mother-in-law.
Ezinne Frank Nwanorue, who recently went viral for insisting that her husband publicly swear an oath that he would die if he cheated on her after relocating to Canada, shared a series of posts following the death of her husband’s mother.
According to Ezinne, she demanded the oath because she believed her husband had repeatedly been unfaithful during their marriage and wanted to ensure he remained faithful after joining her abroad.
Less than a week after her husband made the public declaration, Ezinne posted the funeral poster of her mother-in-law, Comfort Chika Nwanorue, on Facebook and described her as a witch while celebrating her death.
In the post, she declared that one “wicked witch” was gone and expressed the hope that others she described as witches would meet the same fate.
She further claimed that she had been empowered to overcome witches, wizards and other evil people, warning them to repent and accept Christ or face God’s judgment.
Ezinne alleged that members of her husband’s family had made several attempts to frustrate her destiny after discovering it, but maintained that God had helped her overcome their plans and brought her into what she described as her season of manifestation.
She also declared that no one would be able to stop her purpose, expressing confidence that those she considered responsible for her suffering would eventually be defeated as God empowered her.
The woman further stated that she made the declarations in her capacity as a prophetess of God Almighty.
