A Nigerian woman identified as Rose has reportedly lost her sanity after allegedly confessing to the murder of her friend, Mngusuur Gloria Pever. The claim was made public by the deceased’s brother, who linked Rose’s condition to the alleged confession.
Gloria, a Benue State indigene, was reported to have died on Valentine’s Day in 2024. Her brother, Gabriel Pever, provided an update on the case via a social media post on Thursday, April 30, 2026, alleging that she was poisoned.
Pever stated that despite Gloria’s death, he believes justice is taking its course, claiming that the suspect had confessed and subsequently lost her sanity.
He expressed gratitude to God, describing the development as divine vengeance, while noting that he had earlier chosen not to seek personal revenge in line with his late sister’s wishes.
He added that the situation reflects what he described as a manifestation of justice, while praying for the repose of his sister’s soul.
Commenting on the post, a friend of the deceased, Jimmy Ahula, claimed he had previously warned Gloria to distance herself from Rose but was unsuccessful.
Ahula alleged that Rose exhibited troubling behaviours and described her as manipulative and spiritually dangerous.
He claimed that there were several incidents that raised concerns about her conduct, adding that she allegedly influenced Gloria negatively.
Ahula further expressed belief that Rose would face consequences for her actions, describing the situation as an example of eventual justice.
He concluded by praying for the deceased, stating that she has found peace while those responsible would face the consequences of their actions.
