Elders of Ogbesomwan community in Edo State have laid curses on individuals selling Colorado, popularly known as Colos, and other dangerous drugs in the area.
The elders took the action following the growing impact of the banned substances on youths in the community.
They gathered in large numbers and invoked ancestral authority against those involved in the sale of the substances.
The elders called on the ancestors of the community to deal decisively with anyone, whether male or female, who continues to sell Colorado or other harmful substances and refuses to stop.
‘’The ancestors of this community, anybody, man or woman selling colos or any bad substances and doesn’t want to leave, k!ll such person”
During the exercise, they poured spirit and broke kola nuts while offering prayers against those trading in the banned drugs.
