Afrobeats star, Davido, has criticised Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, over his comments at the All Progressives Congress, APC, mega rally ahead of the August 15, 2026 governorship election.
AbdulRazaq, during the rally, stressed the need for Osun to have a governor who could access the presidency and attract development to the state.
The Kwara governor also said Osun residents needed a governor with access to President Bola Tinubu.
Responding in a post on his verified X handle on Friday, Davido criticised AbdulRazaq’s claim, arguing that his access to the President had not translated into improved security for residents of Kwara State.
Davido described the political leaders as “watery” while linking the governor’s accessibility to the presidency with insecurity in Kwara.
