The Chairman of the Governing Council, Osun State College of Health Technology, Ilesa, Hon. Abayomi Adegoke, has extended greetings to staff of the institution in commemoration of the 2026 Workers’ Day, commending their dedication, resilience and commitment to the growth of the college.
Adegoke, in a Workers’ Day message, appreciated the management and entire workforce of the institution, noting that their contributions continue to drive the progress and excellence of the college.
He stated that the celebration was not only about the dignity of labour but also a recognition of the invaluable contributions of workers whose daily efforts sustain academic standards, strengthen healthcare training and uphold the vision of the institution.
The Governing Council chairman noted that the sacrifices, professionalism and unwavering service of staff across teaching, administrative and support roles remain the backbone of the college’s collective achievements.
He further stated that the council recognises the importance of a motivated and well-supported workforce to institutional growth, adding that it remains committed to policies and initiatives aimed at enhancing staff welfare, promoting capacity development and creating a conducive environment for productivity, innovation and learning.
Adegoke commended the Executive Governor of Osun State for his commitment to workers’ welfare and leadership, urging staff of the college and workers across the state to continue supporting the administration.
He said the administration represents hope for improved welfare, expressing confidence that greater progress lies ahead for workers in the state.
The council chairman also urged workers to remain steadfast, united and forward-looking in the face of evolving challenges in the health and education sectors.
He added that collective efforts would ensure the continuous development of the institution as a centre of excellence, integrity and service to humanity.
