Reverend Julian Kyula of The Purpose Centre Church has announced that Apostle Femi Lazarus and his wife have been divinely directed to be based in Kenya.
The disclosure was made during a Sunday service at the church, according to a viral video cited by The Nation on X.
Kyula formally welcomed Apostle Lazarus and his wife as they joined the congregation.
Speaking during the service alongside his wife, Apostle Lazarus explained that their presence in the church was not only to listen to sermons but to acknowledge the ministry as a significant spiritual gateway.
He revealed that he had earlier communicated the new divine instruction to Reverend Kyula, describing the development as a turning point marking a new phase in their spiritual assignment.
According to him, their visit represents a deliberate step in obedience to what they believe is God’s direction concerning their mission at this stage.
Lazarus further stated that every nation possesses the grace required for its own growth and prosperity, noting that their mission in Kenya is to receive spiritual impartation and commissioning.
He disclosed that he arrived in Kenya with his wife and some members of his pastoral team, adding that Reverend Kyula was among the first individuals he informed about the new direction.
The cleric emphasised that the visit was intentional, stressing that the church holds strategic importance in their assignment and that the moment signifies a major transition in their ministry journey.
He also noted that, in line with his personal conviction, he prioritises meeting respected spiritual leaders whenever he enters a new environment, expressing appreciation for the opportunity to connect with Kyula.
Lazarus thanked the Kenyan cleric for warmly receiving them, stating that their visit was marked by humility and a desire to be spiritually enriched.
He reiterated that they did not come with anything extraordinary, but rather to learn, receive blessings, and be equipped for the next phase of their work.
The apostle added that their decision to come was driven by a willingness to submit themselves for spiritual growth and commissioning.
He further expressed gratitude for the reception accorded to them, describing the moment as both humbling and significant.
Responding, Reverend Kyula confirmed that he was aware of the divine prompting guiding Apostle Lazarus and his wife to be based in Kenya at this time.
He stated that the development reflects what he believes God has placed in their hearts for this season, indicating that their relocation aligns with a higher purpose.
Kyula described the move as a blessing and a sign of favour for Kenya, noting that such developments are spiritually significant for the nation.
He added that the presence of globally recognised ministers choosing Kenya as a base, even temporarily, signals a season of divine visitation and opportunity.
The cleric likened the development to prominent global ministers deciding to operate from Kenya, urging citizens not to overlook what he described as a critical moment for the country.
He emphasised that such occurrences should be seen as indicators of spiritual relevance and favour, calling on the nation to embrace the opportunity.
