The Osun State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has officially unveiled the list of its newly elected State Executive Committee members following the party’s congress held in Osogbo.
The announcement was made in a statement issued on Saturday by the State Publicity Secretary of the party, Abdulsalam Abdulkudus, who said the exercise was conducted in line with the provisions of the party’s constitution.
According to the statement, the State Congress, held at Ogo-Oluwa in Osogbo, witnessed active participation of delegates from across all local government areas, producing what it described as a duly recognised and constitutionally backed leadership for the party.
The party urged members and stakeholders to recognise and accord full legitimacy to the newly elected executive led by Hon. Raphael Ayotunde Towobola as State Chairman, alongside other officers.
It stressed that the list ratified at the congress remains the only valid and recognised leadership structure of the party in Osun State, advising members of the public to disregard any contrary claims or unauthorised lists.
The ADC reaffirmed its commitment to internal democracy, unity, and strengthening of its structures, as it prepares for the forthcoming governorship election scheduled for August 15, 2026.
