Content creator and social media personality, VeryDarkMan, has suggested that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu may be campaigning for a third term in office, beyond the 2027 general elections.
He stated this in a video post via his official Instagram page on Monday.
According to VeryDarkMan, he expressed the view that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu may not be preparing solely for the 2027 election, but could also be positioning for political continuity beyond that period, including 2030.
He further alleged that the current political campaign extends beyond the 2027 elections, suggesting an ambition for a third term in office.
He pointed to the APC’s dominance in states and the National Assembly as evidence, stating that with a majority of governors and members of the National Assembly aligned with the party, it could create an advantage in electoral processes across states.
VeryDarkMan argued that the current political developments indicate a move toward consolidation of power, alleging that the situation could lead to the emergence of a one-party system and a possible third-term ambition.
