Popular herbal seller and social media personality, Eniola Fagbemi, widely known as Sisi Alagbo, has again apologised over a leaked video involving her, her husband, Adesola Hakeem, and an unidentified woman.
The video, which surfaced online last Monday, has generated widespread controversy, with many expressing outrage over its content, while others questioned the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Following the viral video, Sisi Alagbo and her husband had earlier apologised to her fans, stating that she had been unable to sleep for days since it surfaced online.
However, in an emotional video posted on her Facebook page on Monday, Sisi Alagbo broke down in tears as she knelt to beg Nigerians, her fans, and her family for forgiveness.
Fagbemi appealed to mothers, members of the association of herbal sellers, her family, and God to pardon her actions.
She stated that she deeply regretted the incident and admitted that she had no justification for her conduct.
The herbal seller pleaded with Nigerians, her family members, and her mother not to be angry with her over the development, while also extending her apology to practitioners in the herbal and traditional medicine sector.
She further appealed to mothers across the country to forgive her actions, acknowledging that she had made a serious mistake and expressing remorse over the situation.
Fagbemi also sought forgiveness from both men and women nationwide, describing herself as remorseful and accepting full responsibility for her actions.
She emphasised that she had no excuse for what happened, admitting wrongdoing and repeatedly pleading for forgiveness from the public.
She also called on God to forgive her sins, stressing that she was deeply sorry and appealing for mercy.
Sisi Alagbo rose to prominence online after showcasing her herbal trade and promoting her grandmother’s business to a wider audience, including markets in China and Qatar.
She later gained further attention following a viral encounter with Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
In the video, she was seen kneeling respectfully to greet the football star, a gesture that sparked mixed reactions on social media.
Responding to critics at the time, she defended her action, stating that showing respect should not be condemned, especially given the footballer’s status and achievements.
She noted that prominent and influential individuals across the world admire Osimhen, adding that she felt it was appropriate to honour him when given the opportunity.
Fagbemi also stated that the encounter brought positive attention to her business, revealing that her products gained increased patronage following the viral moment.
She added that many people showed interest in her herbal products after the video circulated, further boosting her visibility.
The herbal seller maintained that she would repeat the gesture if given another opportunity, insisting that it aligns with her cultural values and upbringing as a Yoruba woman.
