Interior designer Ehi Ogbebor has said that, contrary to public perception, she does not date married men or have a habit of taking other women’s husbands.
Ogbebor said the only married man she had dated was NURTW executive Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo. She explained that she agreed to the relationship because he is a Muslim and his religious beliefs permit him to marry more than one woman.
She described MC Oluomo as one of her best friends and said she did not consider herself someone who snatches other women’s husbands. She challenged anyone who believed otherwise to come forward and identify a woman whose husband she had taken.
Reflecting on her past, Ogbebor disclosed that she had been married twice, with her first marriage taking place when she was 18 years old.
She said she eventually left the first marriage because of what she described as her former husband’s involvement in diabolical practices, as well as physical and financial abuse.
Ogbebor alleged that her former husband once assaulted her severely and poured olive oil into her mouth while she was unconscious. She also said he assaulted her during pregnancy, pushing her and causing her to fall on her face.
The mother of three said her beauty and wealth were not enough to save her marriages, adding that she was not bothered by people’s perceptions of her.
Ogbebor said she earns enough money to pursue whatever makes her happy and would continue to do so.
