Media Adviser to former Minister of Interior and ex-Osun State Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Mr. Sola Fasure, has claimed that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is currently the least popular political party in Osun State.
Fasure made the remarks while speaking on Western Spring Television, where he assessed the political landscape ahead of the next governorship election in the state.
According to him, the APC would finish behind other parties if a free, fair and credible governorship election were conducted in Osun State today.
The Aregbesola aide maintained that available indicators and public sentiment do not favour the ruling opposition party in the state.
Fasure claimed that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) currently enjoys the highest level of public acceptance among political parties in the state.
He said the position was based on the understanding of political developments in the state as well as opinion polls conducted by his group.
According to him, findings from the polls indicate that the ADC has emerged as the most popular political platform in Osun State at the moment.
He said, “APC Will Come Last in Osun By Every Matrix! “APC is the least popular party in Osun as of today,” Fasure asserted bluntly. “In a free and fair election, honestly counted, APC will come last if elections are to be conducted today by every matrix. APC is least popular party in Osun as we speak, ADC is the most popular candidate party in this state by understanding and opinion poll we’ve done”
