Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, has revealed that she is no longer interested in getting married following her separation from her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
The actress, however, stated that she still intends to have more children and expressed determination to give birth to a daughter.
Daniels made the disclosure during a recent livestream session with TikToker, Jarvis, where she spoke about her family plans and personal life.
According to her, she hopes to have six children and currently has two sons.
The actress explained that despite losing interest in marriage, she remains committed to having a daughter because she believes women tend to maintain stronger emotional ties with their parents.
She noted that while men often focus more on building their own families after marriage, daughters usually continue to care deeply for their parents and homes.
She said, “I want to have six children and I have two already, two boys. It so crazy but for some reason I have checked my mind out from getting married. But I am going to have a girl and I must have a girl.
“Men will grow, get married and and focus more on building family. But for women she will always remember home.”
Daniels and Ned Nwoko got married in 2019, a union that generated public reactions due to the over 40-year age difference between the actress, who was 19 at the time, and the billionaire politician.
The couple share two sons together.
Their marriage reportedly faced major public controversy in late 2025 after allegations emerged from Nwoko accusing the actress of struggling with drug and alcohol abuse and allegedly requiring rehabilitation.
Daniels, however, denied the allegations and accused the senator of manipulation, psychological control and abuse.
Following the controversy, the actress reportedly left the marriage and moved into her own residence.
Since then, she has repeatedly maintained publicly that she is single.
