All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Joe Igbokwe, has stated that the realization of an Igbo presidency depends on a fundamental shift in political attitude and the building of strategic alliances across other regions.
In a recent social media post addressing the 2027 presidential race, Igbokwe criticized the online behavior of some South-East citizens.
He questioned how the region intends to secure the nation’s top political office while continually alienating potential allies through social media attacks.
Joe wrote, ” Our Children, men and women are on Social Media abusing everybody. These are the people who want a president of Igbo extraction in 2027. We can never make it unless we change our attitude and make friends across Nigeria.
“I told them that they will not know when the train left the station. Now they are complaining and crying their hearts out. They do not know PBAT and neither do they know that he has built great bridges across Nigeria. He is a man.”
Mr joe igbokwe. I’m yet to see a region in Nigeria that do not through insults on other tribes. I do not agree completely with your views.
Yes the leadership of Nigeria has been a two region show. That does not mean that other regions do not have capable hands that can do better
