Nigerian singer and Davido’s cousin, B-Red, has expressed confidence in his father, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, saying Nigeria would experience significant improvements if he eventually becomes President.
B-Red made the remark while speaking about his family’s political background and financial status.
According to the singer, his family did not venture into politics for financial reasons, stressing that they had been wealthy long before becoming involved in politics.
B-Red said he believed the country would improve significantly if Governor Adeleke became President, adding that his family had no need to seek political positions for money.
The singer also addressed the possibility of following his father into the highest political office in the country.
Despite coming from a prominent political family, B-Red said he had no interest in becoming President, citing the enormous pressure associated with the position.
He said the pressure of occupying such a position would be too much for him.
His comments have sparked reactions online, particularly his assertion that his family’s involvement in politics is not driven by the pursuit of wealth.
The singer’s 2023 comments resurfaced after Adeleke won a second term in Osun.
