Professor Mojeed Alabi has stepped down as the Provost of the College of Law, Ifetedo Campus of Osun State University (UNIOSUN), bringing to an end his four-year tenure after serving two terms in office.
Alabi announced the completion of his tenure in a post shared on his Facebook page on Friday, where he expressed gratitude to God for seeing him through what he described as a challenging but successful period of leadership.
The former provost said he accepted the responsibility of leading the College of Law following a request from his colleagues to drive the transformation of the institution. He noted that the assignment came with numerous challenges, which made the job more demanding than he had anticipated.
He, however, expressed appreciation to members of staff and students of the college for their support throughout his tenure.
Alabi also acknowledged the support of the university management led by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Clement Adebooye, as well as the Governing Councils chaired by Professor Yusuf Ali (SAN) and Professor Wale Oladipo.
He further thanked his family, friends and associates for enduring the sacrifices and inconveniences associated with his responsibilities as provost.
According to him, he is pleased that the four-year journey ended successfully, expressing gratitude to God for making the tenure smooth and impactful.
