A lifeless body of a man has been found on the newly constructed Oke-Fia flyover in Osogbo.
It was gathered that an accident involving two motorcycles reportedly occurred on the bridge in the early hours of Tuesday.
The flyover, which is yet to be officially commissioned by the Osun State Government, was recently opened for vehicular movement to ease transportation during the Muslim festive period.
As of the time of filing this report, it remained unclear whether the deceased was among those involved in the reported accident.
An Osun-based blog, Inside Osogbo had earlier raised an alarm on social media over the incident.
The blog called on the Osun State Government, the Federal Road Safety Corps, the Nigeria Police Force and other relevant authorities to urgently intervene before nightfall.
