Nigerian TikToker, Olumide Ogunsanwo, popularly known as Sea King, has criticised Ibadan-based Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo Igboho, over recent attacks and abductions in Oyo State.
Sea King spoke in a video shared on his Instagram page on Tuesday while reacting to the mass abduction of teachers and students of Community High School, Ahoro-Esinele in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State on Friday, May 15, 2026.
According to reports, bandits on May 17, 2026, beheaded one of the abducted teachers, identified as Michael Oyedokun, and released a video showing the act alongside another clip of the school principal pleading with the government to negotiate with the gunmen for the victims’ safety.
Reacting to the incident, Sea King faulted Igboho for allegedly remaining silent despite previous promises to tackle insecurity and banditry in the South-West.
The TikToker alleged that Igboho had abandoned his earlier stance against criminal activities in Yoruba land, describing his silence as political.
Sea King also questioned the agitator’s commitment to his earlier declarations about protecting the region from attacks and insecurity.
According to him, Igboho had once vowed to eradicate bandits and mobilise thousands of supporters to defend Yoruba land, but had remained silent despite the recent killings and abductions in Oyo State.
He further alleged that silence after receiving a presidential pardon could not be described as bravery but politics.
He said, “Where’s Sunday_igboho1? Sunday Igboho has been paid. You said nobody should campaign in Yoruba land except Tinubu. You said you wanted to eradicate all the Fulani that are killing people from the land. Where are you now? Why are you silent? They have taken over Yoruba land .
“You vowed to ‘eradicate’ the bandits. You promised to lead 50,000 men. Now you’re back in Yorubaland, but the killings haven’t stopped. So where is the action? Silence after a presidential pardon isn’t bravery, it’s politics.”
The development comes about three months after Bola Ahmed Tinubu reportedly removed Igboho’s name from the Federal Government’s wanted list.
Igboho recently returned to Nigeria after spending nearly five years in exile following the invasion of his Ibadan residence by operatives of the Department of State Services in July 2021 during the administration of late former President Muhammadu Buhari over his agitation for a Yoruba Nation.
