A House of Representatives aspirant under the All Progressives Congress in Osun State, Barr. Abimbola Kazeem Amusan, has raised the alarm over an alleged forged signature on a result sheet circulating in the ongoing party primary election for Ayedaade/Irewole/Isokan Federal Constituency.
Amusan, who made the allegation in a post shared on his verified social media page on Saturday, claimed that the purported result sheet originated from Ward 7 in Ayedaade Local Government where, according to him, no election was conducted.
The aspirant described the document as false and alleged that the signature attached beside his name on the result sheet was forged.
According to him, the signature appearing on the document did not emanate from him and should not be regarded as authentic.
Amusan also accused the Osun APC leadership of attempting to impose preferred candidates across federal constituencies in the state, warning that such actions could create crisis within the party ahead of the governorship election scheduled for August.
He further stated that the alleged imposition of candidates was against the best interest of the party and described the development as dishonourable.
Abimbola wrote, ” just saw this hilarious, properly typed , false signed result sheet from Ward 7 Ayedaade local government where no elections took place.
“The signature in front of my name is false, 100%. Please take note.
“Osun APC is threading a dangerous path with the continued insistence on imposing anointed candidates accros the federal constituencies in Osun State.
“Osun Gubernatorial elections will hold in August, and it is against the best interest of the party to tow this dishonorable path.”
