The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that results for candidates who sat the first batch of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will be released Friday, April 17.
In a statement issued by JAMB spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, the board disclosed that candidates who wrote the examination on Thursday, April 16, 2026, would be able to access their results before midnight on Friday.
Benjamin explained that the release of the results is part of the board’s commitment to ensuring a timely and efficient examination process for candidates across the country.
He further noted that JAMB would make an official public announcement once the results have been successfully uploaded and are accessible to candidates nationwide.
The spokesperson assured candidates that all necessary processes are being concluded to facilitate a smooth release, urging them to remain patient while the final steps are completed.
JAMB also appreciated the cooperation of candidates and stakeholders throughout the examination exercise, reiterating its commitment to transparency and credibility in its operations.
