ROVET – An Osun West senatorial aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Adebayo Oladosu, has said he joined the race to offer quality representation to his people at the National Assembly.
Oladosu, popularly known as Rovet, also expressed optimism that the party’s governorship candidate, Alhaji Bola Oyebamiji, will emerge victorious at the polls, while assuring that President Bola Tinubu will be re-elected in 2027.
In a statement issued by his Media Unit, the Iwo-born politician appealed to APC leaders, stakeholders, and members to support his emergence as the party’s senatorial candidate, noting that his candidature would attract more votes to the party in the forthcoming elections.
Oladosu stated that his emergence as the APC senatorial candidate would boost the party’s chances of victory, adding that it would give him the opportunity to further serve the people with quality representation.
He said, as someone familiar with the needs of the people and the senatorial district, he would apply his experience, exposure, and connections to attract support from the Federal Government and corporate organisations to address the challenges facing the area.
The aspirant also called for massive support for the APC in the forthcoming elections, promising to maintain a direct link with the grassroots.
Oladosu added that his representation at the National Assembly would prioritise the interests of the grassroots, assuring that his contributions would focus on the development of the senatorial district and the state.
He urged party members to intensify mobilisation efforts across the ten local governments in the senatorial district to ensure the party’s success at the polls.
He also appealed to residents to remain peaceful and law-abiding in order to achieve the desired progress in society.
